We provide free nurse aide training and pay for nurse aide testing to qualified applicants who complete the 3-week program. Upon completion you will receive on the job training as a nursing assistant if a position is available.
To receive further education to become a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), Providence Pointe (in conjunction with the Eastern Center for Arts and Technology) has established a part-time evening and weekend program. This program will involve two evenings a week and every other weekend for two years. The classroom experience will be held on-site at Providence Pointe. The Clinical component of the LPN Program will be provided at the Center and two local hospitals in western Montgomery County. Classes are anticipated to begin spring of 2002 pending approval from the Department of Education.
